Favicon API
A free alternative to Google's favicon API.
No key and no signup. The API is a plain image URL: no cookies, no scripts. SVG icons from a curated catalog of 4,133 brands, and an honest 404 when we don't have one.

- Is it free?
- Yes. No key and no signup. Fair use applies, see terms. The API sets no cookies. Requests are logged like any web server, see privacy.
- Can I use it from the browser?
- Yes. CORS is open. Icons are cached for a day and 404s are not cached.
- Logo or favicon, which URL?
- Use
/favicon/for tabs, lists and small UI. Use the logo URL for full logos. Every brand page lists both the logo URL and the favicon URL. - My site's icon is missing or old.
