The US listing is preferred. To pick one, use /ticker/{EXCHANGE}:{TICKER}.svg, for example NASDAQ:MNDY.

Status	When
`404`	Unknown ticker. Plain `404`, no placeholder image.
`429`	Too many requests. Wait for `Retry-After`.

Does the ticker URL return the image or a redirect?

A 302 redirect to the normal logo URL. An img tag follows it, so you can put the ticker URL in src.
